Setting Out Works
Surveyors are used to working from a design drawing to set out on the land the roads, earthworks, drains, buildings and in some cases tunnels for various infrastructure projects. The total stations can set out robotically from the data uploaded to the onboard computer and this can mean that one man can undertake the setting out with an assistant to put in pegs or steel pins on the positions from the plan.
