Mining Reports

Mining Reports

The mining engineers and surveyors are able to provide mining reports for a wide range of underground mineral operations that may have affected an area in the past. The commonest cause is coal mining but the UK has mined a variety of minerals in underground operations such as fireclay, ironstone, fluorspar, lead, tin and salt.

The report deals with the mining operation, the time it took place and the assessment of risk to the built environment or a site that may be developable. Remediation and treatment of mine workings can also be discussed with the client with cost and timescales.
