Flood Risk Assessments
The assessment of flooding to a development is now a prerequisite of any planning application and what effect the proposal may have on the flood regime is also discussed. From the flood risk assessment the design of drains and the disposal of water to ground can be advised on from the geological knowledge our engineers have for any area in the UK. The assessments may include existing drain surveys and river / stream sections on a survey plan to ascertain the volumes of water that can be disposed of from the site.
